PATH developed Uniject with funding from the US Agency for International Development and then licensed the system to BD, the largest syringe manufacturer in the world. As part of the licensing agreement, BD supplies the Uniject system to pharmaceutical producers at preferential prices for use in developing-country programs. Developing Uniject and bringing it to market has been a 20-year endeavor.

I think this is more predatory if anything. Hannibal uses his sexuality and demeanor to manipulate and lull people into a sense of comfort so then he can have his way with them. He comes of has neither homosexual or heterosexual, if anything he is asexual and uses sex only when it’s for his benefit nothing more nothing less. While there can be a deeper analysis of his sexual appetite or lack there of, I don’t really have the insight into serial killer psychology or sociopathy to make it.

I wish some of my guy friends would at least acknowledge that three different cars full of men just screamed “How much?” ”Hop in the car, baby” and “Fuck you, slut” at me in the last 10 minutes. Nope, we’re just gonna continue walking without saying anything? Ok.

Most intelligent guys wouldn’t say anything because we know how those type of guys operate. If we were to say anything to them they would most likely try to start shit which would put you, and ourselves, at risk of physical harm.

These people were in cars…driving…away from us. It would be ridiculous of me to expect my friends to say anything to these men (what are they going to do, chase their cars?), and that was not what I desired. I said that I wished my guy friends would acknowledge that it had happened. I know their behavior is unacceptable, but it would be nice to know that those around me feel the same way. Without acknowledging it I feel like its being understood as ‘not a big deal’ when it is. I don’t like to think that the reason some men say that street harassment isn’t happening is because they ignore it, like my friends did. I imagine I’d feel far more comfortable if my friends would actively support me, even if its just saying something like, “Don’t worry about those guys. I gotchoo!” and moving on.

The situation is terrifying for both the woman who suffer and the men who are trying to support. Obviously it’s a lot worse for the woman because it’s something they have to endure everyday, but how do you rationalize with a man acts irrationally to begin with. Regardless, they should have said something and supported you, or tried to comfort you. Anytime I’m put in a situation where I have to tell a guy to fuck off or try to defend someone I get a pit in my stomach and usually take off my glasses in preparation of getting punched in the face, but oddly enough it always works out for me and the asshole backs down and I feel a lot better for it. Anyway, I’m sorry that you had to deal with that and that you have to deal with that. The best advice I can give is call your guy friends out for not sticking up for you and tell them you want them to do that for you. NOT BECAUSE YOU CAN’T HELP YOURSELF, but because you want the support and validation that you have friends that care for you.

This is another reason why Deadpool is such a dynamic character. You get the funny and the laughs and the jokes and the murder and the death and the suicide and then FUCKING BAM! You find out that he actually has a heart, that he actually cares about certain things and doesn’t compromise those morals ever. You find out that he was a lot more than you expected and now you’re confused and distraught because Deadpool will never be the same. In truth, Deadpool was like this a lot more than you would think, but for whatever reason writers only showed this side of him once every blue moon. I hope now that Remender has made it clear that Deadpool can be both emotional and awesome and funny and still be great that more writers will tag along and show that Deadpool has a heart.
